I wish.. I wish..

“I wish I can be somewhere else but here. I wish I can be in some other circumstances. I wish…”; that’s what I’ll wish for if I were this kid. Street Kids is a common sight in Jakarta roads and over-head bridges. Since young, these kids are exposed to abuses and harassments. 5 days later i passed the same over-head bridge, and the kid was still there wearing the same clothes.

A hole in the middle

”A hole in the middle” describes the kid’s teeth; and at the same time contains a metaphoric meaning: in spite the hardship of life, you have to be able to smile.
